Why I Don’t Like 7Search for CPA Marketing

Oct 18, 2015 by Jariho C Leave a Comment

7Search is a Pay Per Click (PPC) affiliate network. It is mainly involved in search engine advertising services and CPA marketing for online businesses. Started in 1999, 7Search is one of the oldest among PPC search engines. However, the number of years it has been active in no way correlates to the overall quality of its service, which, to be absolutely honest, is terrible.

Here are some reasons why using 7Search PPC for CPA marketing is a bad idea:

1. Extremely low conversion rates: The hits that you get using 7Search ads convert very poorly into actual sales. This is especially bad because 7Search PPC claims to send targeted traffic to your site. It is completely out of the league of giants like Google, Yahoo, or even MSN. This is due to the difference in the quality of traffic sent to the advertiser’s site by 7Search and the major PPC networks.

2. Cheap traffic: 7Search PPC is cheaper than the major PPC traffic sources. This shows in the quality of traffic the advertiser gets from 7Search. The traffic is not fraudulent or anything, but it does not convert into actual orders and sales very easily. One advertiser reported getting 2 orders for every 100 ad clicks from Google Adwords. However, when he switched to 7Search there was no order even after 2000 ad clicks. Even after the most careful tweaking and optimizing, the quality of 7Search traffic remains the same. So, it’s very difficult to create a profitable campaign with 7Search.

3. Inaccurate conversion tracking: When you track your hits and conversions using 7Search and something else like Google Analytics, you’ll find a large margin of error. An advertiser reported a 35.4% discrepancy between the data provided by the two. In general, it is better to trust Google with the number of hits and clicks on your site.

So, as far as affiliate campaigns and CPA marketing go, it’s a bad idea to trust 7Search. Yes, it’s cheap and looks like a bargain at first sight. However, the main thing to consider is quality. The abysmal quality of traffic offered by 7Search can never compete with Google Adwords, Yahoo, or MSN. So, if you’re thinking about using 7Search PPC for your CPA marketing ventures, our advice is: Don’t do it!
