If you are affiliate newbie, conversion pixels & postbacks may be the new term to you. But it is very important in the affiliate marketing.
Before I continue the conversion pixels & postbacks, I need to talk about affiliate tracking system first. Nowadays, the most common affiliate tracking software are Prosper202 and CPVLab. These software provide affiliate the dashboard for tracking and optimizing affiliate campaigns. These software allow affiliates to add as much as CPA offers and to generate the postback/conversion pixel URL (for adding into affiliate network).
What is Conversion Tracking/ Postbacks?
In general speaking, conversion pixels/postbacks is one kind of communication between affiliate network system and affiliate tracking software. When there is a conversion, affiliate network system will notice to affiliate tracking software through conversion pixels/postbacks. Some affiliate networks allows affiliates to add conversion pixels and some allows affiliates to add postbacks. Functions of both conversion pixels/postbacks are same. Get Conversion Pixels Or Postbacks From Prosper202
When Prosper202 software is free, it is very popular in affiliate marketing. In Prosper 202, to get your tracking code:
1) Under “Setup” tag, you can see the link: “#8 Get Postback/Pixel”.
2) Usually, you only need to select Simple Pixel and http://. Then the software will generate the code like the following:

If you need Postback, you only need to get URL part like this:
